Primary lithium-manganese-dioxide cylindrical cell features long-term reliability

A high safety and energy density cell, the CR-AG offers important features within the meter market, particularly a long lifespan. This technology replaces thionyl chloride as standard battery. This cell utilizes lithium-manganese-dioxide cellManganese-based cathode material to deliver better temperature tolerance so it can operate in harsh environments.

For the CR-AG, features include:
• High current pulse discharge capability
• Superior long- term reliability (Up to 10 years)
• High safety and energy density

panasonic battery curvesNominal battery capacity is typically 2,400 mAh. Nominal voltage is 3 V, and the battery weighs about 17 gm. Operating temperature is -40 to +70°C.
